Meet The Team

Peter Sondergeld is the lead pastor of The Project Church, which he was instrumental in planting in 2011. He served as a director of Biblical Counselling Australia from 2013 to early 2018 when he stepped down to focus on Restore Ministries. He is a registered teacher, counsellor and counselling supervisor. He gets excited at the thought that God might work through him to grow people up to be more thoughtful, strong and passionate. Peter and his wife Angela have four sons. When Pete isn’t preaching, parenting, studying or counselling he loves to go camping and mountain bike riding or to simply play cricket in the backyard with the boys and enjoy coffee with his wife.  Peter’s qualifications include a Doctor of Ministry (Australian College of Theology), Master of Education & Cert BibCouns.

Kurt Peters is a husband, father, pastor, church planter, counsellor, ministry coach and supervisor. He is currently pastoring St Matts in Botany. In addition, he provides professional supervision for Christians in diverse ministry roles in/outside the church throughout Australia and the world. He was the co-founder of Biblical Counselling Australia and is currently a special advisor to the board. Kurt has walked alongside Peter and the Restore Ministries team since it’s inception and from 2019 has served on the board. He is passionate about providing honest and loving spaces for people to encounter Jesus and be transformed.
